I was recently awarded a grant by the SF Commission to create “Holding Space”, a life size chair sculpture in the form of an indigenous woman. Holding space is intended to hold individuals and provide a safe sacred space to meditate, reflect and heal. Holding Space is to be placed where the community comes to heal and celebrate cultural traditions and practice indigenous ceremonies. I look forward to sharing her with all of you soon. It is my honor to be able to create her and continue to give my part in the cycle of healing.
